IT. Fabio Barile (Barletta, 1980) studia fotografia alla Fondazione Studio Marangoni di Firenze. Nel 2007 è selezionato fra i finalisti di Atlante Italiano 007 e le sue immagini sono esposte al MAXXI di Roma. La sua prima personale, Diary n°0 – Things that do not Happen, è selezionata nel circuito di Fotografia Festival Internazionale di Roma del 2009. Nello stesso anno, espone il progetto Among al Foto Festival di Atene e al Centre d’Art Dominique Lang in Lussemburgo. Nel 2010 entra a far parte dell’archivio fotografico Documentary Platform, A Visual Archive. Nel 2012 il progetto Soli Finti è selezionato per il Dummy Award del Photobook Festival ed esposto a Le Bal di Parigi. Nel 2015, il suo lavoro Homage to James Hutton è esposto al MACRO di Roma. Tra il 2017 e il 2019 espone An investigation of the laws observable in the composition, dissolution and restoration of land alla galleria Matèria e all’ICCD di Roma, in dialogo con l’archivio fotografico dell’istituto, al Centro per le Arti Visive Pescheria di Pesaro e a Les Rencontres de la photographie d’Arles. Nel 2020, FOAM Magazine pubblica un’anteprima dal suo ultimo lavoro Works for a cosmic feeling. Sue opere sono presenti nelle collezioni della Fondazione MAST di Bologna e dell’ICCD di Roma.

In 2007 he is selected amongst the finalists of Atlante Italiano 007 and his images are exhibited at the MAXXI in Rome. His first solo show, Diary n°0 – Things that do not Happen, is selected in the circuit of the Fotografia Festival Internazionale of Rome in 2009. That same year he exhibits the project Among at the Foto Festival of Atene and at the Centre d’Art Dominique Lang in Luxemburg. In 2010 he becomes part of the photographic archive Documentary Platform, A Visual Archive. In 2012 the project Soli Finti is selected for the Dummy Award of the Photobook Festival and exposed at Le Bal in Paris. In 2015 his work Homage to James Hutton is exhibited at the MACRO in Rome. Between 2017 and 2019 he exhibits An investigation of the laws observable in the composition, dissolution and restoration of land at the Matèria Gallery and at the all’ICCD of Roma, in dialogue with the photographic archive of the institute, at the Centro per le Arti Visive Pescheria of Pesaro and at Les Rencontres de la photographi e in Arles. In 2020 FOAM Magazine published a preview of his last work Works for a cosmic feeling. His works are to be found in the collections of the MAST Foundation in Bologna and the ICCD in Rome.
