IT. Alessandro Dandini de Sylva (Roma, 1981) è artista e curatore. I suoi lavori sono stati esposti in istituzioni pubbliche e private tra cui la Flowers Gallery a Londra, la Humble Arts Foundation a New York, il Bund 33 Art Center a Shanghai, l’Istituto Italiano di Cultura a Parigi e Operativa Arte Contemporanea a Roma. Tra i riconoscimenti ricevuti il Premio Shanghai, Les Promesses de l’Art e il Talent Prize. Il suo primo libro, Paesaggi, è presente in collezioni pubbliche come la Tate Library a Londra e l’ICCD a Roma ed è stato esposto in manifestazioni internazionali come Off Print (Parigi e Londra), I Never Read (Basilea) e Unseen (Amsterdam). Dal 2011 al 2016 è stato curatore di Fotografia Festival Internazionale di Roma. Tra il 2012 e il 2016 ha curato un ciclo di mostre di fotografia sperimentale al MACRO di Roma. Nel 2013 e nel 2014 è stato curatore ospite alla Fondazione Pastificio Cerere di Roma e alla Fondazione Ermanno Casoli di Fabriano. Dal 2016 è direttore della Fondazione Malaspina di Ascoli Piceno e dal 2017 curatore alla Fondazione Pescheria Centro Arti Visive di Pesaro.

His works have been exhibited in public and private institutions among which the Flowers Gallery in London, the Humble Arts Foundation in New York, the Bund 33 Art Center in Shanghai, the Istituto Italiano di Cultura in Paris and Operativa Arte Contemporanea in Rome. Among the received awards are the Shanghai Prize, Les Promesses de l’Art and the Talent Prize. From 2011 to 2016 he has been the curator of the Fotografia Festival Internazionale in Rome. Between 2012 and 2016 he has curated a cycle of experimental photography exhibitions at the MACRO in Rome. In 2013 and 2014 he has been the guest curator at the Fondazione Pastificio Cerere in Rome and at the Fondazione Ermanno Casoli in Fabriano. Since 2016 he is the director of the Fondazione Malaspina in Ascoli Piceno and since 2017 curator at the Fondazione Pescheria Centro Arti Visive in Pesaro.
